Bristar Girls High School is a modern boarding school that caters for the girl child.

The institution is founded on the Biblical standard based on the firm belief that in every student there is a 'Bright Morning Star' thus the name Bristar Girls’ High School. A lot of emphasis is placed on academic excellence and solid relationships.

At Bristar, we believe in providing holistic education to the girl child with strong emphasis on leadership qualities.

Bristar Girls High school recognizes that there is a leader in every girl child. Our vision therefore is to develop and fully exploit the leadership potential in the student as we impart educational values.

When did it all begin?

Bristar Girls High School opened her doors to the first student on 7TH FEBRUARY 2006. However; the idea had been ingrained in the minds of the Directors whose desire was to give holistic education to the girl-child that integrated academic excellence with strong leadership qualities and fear of God.

The name Bristar is derived from the Book of Revelation 22:16 where Jesus refers to Himself as the Bright Morning Star. Thus Jesus being the guiding light in the school, the school adopted the shortened form: Bristar

Like the Chinese proverb that “THE JOURNEY OF A THOUSAND MILES BEGINS WITH A SINGLE STEP, Bristar has grown tremendously and witnessed a transition of many students over the years. The school has come along way for the past 8 years with the KCSE performance having steadily grown to the current level where the school was among the TOP 100 PRIVATE SCHOOLS NATIONALLY.

At Bristar we stand on core values namely: spirituality, character development, excellence and leadership.

Our motto-education for leadership and the mission-providing a holistic education to the girl child with strong emphasis on leadership qualities is what we live for everyday as we mould the students.
